PersonalProfile: Yakun Ju is currently a “ZhuFeng” Distinguished Professor in the State Key Laboratory of Physical Oceanography and the Faculty of Information Science and Engineering at Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China. He was previously an Assistant Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the University of Leicester, UK, a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong SAR. His research focuses on 3D reconstruction, medical image processing, and underwater visual perception. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals and conferences, including TPAMI, TVCG, TIP, and IJCV, and holds multiple patents.
